I used “Word It Out” to list Math vocabulary. This tool will be very helpful for my bilingual students. Students can practice syllable activities, writing, and other language activities on their own time.
I used the “spell with Flickr” as a part of an environmental printing. I think I can use I it to show different types of fonts for students’ Letter ID, to create syllables, I think the possibilities are endless.

You're examples are great. I agree these image generators are so much fun to play around with. Did you see Bookr (http://www.pimpampum.net/bookr/)? I think it would be an easy site for your students to create their own storybooks. Check it out and let me know what you think. We could work on it with your kids during your library time if you're interested.
